Program Information

• 2023/2024 Monday - Thursday (145 school days)

 

• 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

• Saratoga Springs School Calendar

• 1 Field Trip per month to a local farm highlighting various types of agriculture (parents supervise and transport)

 

• Maximum Group Size 12 children

​

• 1 Lead Teacher, 1 Assistant

​

• Licensed NYS Group Family Daycare

​

• Full time students only

​

• Lead teacher is a Master's Level Teacher with NYS Professional Certification in Early Childhood

​

• Children must turn 3 or 4 on or by December 1st​

​

• Children ideally are "mostly" toilet trained and toilet independently, but don't stress! Accidents and toilet training are a part of early childhood and pull-ups are allowed

​

• Guest instruction in Yoga, Spanish and Music once per month included in deposit fee. Lots of educational visitors including a Wildlife Rehabilitator, a musician or two, secret readers, a chef, a composter, an a wildlife educator. 

​

• We will spend time outside every day, no matter the weather, so children will need to be prepared in all seasons! (See what to wear page!                                                             

 

• We are not a full-time forest program yet as we cannot operate as such due to Town Planning Board issues. We have a place to warm up and play on the nastiest of days. We will use the farmhouse and greenhouse as necessary. We often start indoors in December, January and February and then dress for outdoor play mid morning.
