9:00 a.m. Arrival/Drop Off

Please help children dress for the weather of the day, wash hands and sign in.

 

9:00-9:45 a.m. Free Play

During morning free play, we offer academic centers, manipulatives, sensory experiences, free art making, and literacy or math activities. Outdoors in most weather, indoors in tough weather.

9:45-10:15 a.m. Circle Time

Gathering together for songs, seasons, calendar, finger plays, phonics, math, read alouds, science lessons, farming how-tos, demonstrations and teacher-lead activities. Outdoors in most weather, indoors in tough weather.

10:15-10:30 a.m. Craft, Fine Motor Project, Science Inquiry

Indoors or out depending on the project and the weather!

 

10:30-10:45 a.m. Snack/Storytime

Snack provided by parents

10:45-11:00 a.m. Chores

Watering, planting, seeding, harvesting, mulching, processing, feeding animals, gathering eggs.

​

11:00- 12:00 p.m. Forest Free Play

Free play in the forest, hikes, visits to our favorite spots.

 

12:00 p.m. Farewell and Pick-Up

*Field trips typically take place from 10-11:30 a.m. at a local farm and parents chaperone and transport on those days. School is not in session those mornings. 

​
